Emma Johansson:
- I’m a bit tired of all this 3rd places. Since the 2008 Olympics my nick name in Sweden has been “Silver Emma” which is not so good… but to turn into “Bronze Emma”… just forget it! So I hope I can go back to Cholet and copy my last ride and victory there.
.
“Cholet Pays de Loire” is raced on a 29,5km lap done 4 times, in total 118km. The surrounding of Cholet has rolling roads and smaller climbs that offers offensive style of racing.
.
As team mates in the national team Emma will have company from; Hanna Helamb, Alexandra Nessmar, Isabelle Söderberg, Madelene Olsson, Martina Tomasson (all Cramo Go:Green riders) and Sara Mustonen (Faren Let’s go Finland).
.
Emma Johansson:
- I know all the girls from past years and we have had a lot of fun together so I really look forward to race with them again. To race together is important for building team spirit for the world championships. The more we know each other and have raced together the better it is.
We also have some young talented first year elite riders with us. I hope I can some sort of a role model for Hanna and Alexandra and that they can learn from me. That’s something I missed when I become a elite rider.
