“Old School”
2012.09.11 - emma
Brainwash Ladies Tour is over for this year and on the last three stages Tem Hitec Products – Mistral Home Cycling Team managed to get three 3rd places.
Me on stage #4, Sara on stage #5 and Elisa on stage #6.
Most happy I was for Sara who took her first UCI podium place for 2012.
Sara is such a hard worker and finally it payed off in a well deserved result!
.
At the moment I’m back in Belgium. This time we stay at Tante Christines place (the lady who learned me Flemish). It’s a bit like being back to the “old school”. Training in rain and long talks over delicious soup for lunch. Only thing that has changed is that I don’t have to learn Flemish anymore… which definitely makes the talks and discussions a lot more interesting!
.
One more week exactly and then I’ll be standing on the start line again!
.
World Championships coming up next…

Hi Emma. What are your thoughts on Emma Pooley hanging up her bicycle and finishing her Ph.D.? It sounds like she is pretty disillusioned with women’s pro-cycling right now. Maybe you can’t say much do to possibly being put on the U.C.I.’s Black list. Best of health and good luck in future races. And ‘member: Vos can be beaten.
good luck tomorrow!!!!
Geef er een lap op!
I didn’t see your name on the World Champs TTT start list?
