Bad Internet connection have made updates on my website impossible… But for those who have followed my short messages on twitter these last week also knows that the “old” Emma is close to being back on top!
My racing last week went from good (7th place in “Durango-Durango” on the Tuesday) to better and best the longer the week unfolded.
On the third day of “La Bira” I did a good time trial. Finishing 5th on the same time as TT specialist Emma Pooley and only 7seconds behind reigning World Champion Judith Arndt!
Last stage I rode offensive but the win wasn’t mine this day either. 2nd place on the stage and in the General Classement I advanced up til a 2nd place.
Would have been nice with a win down there, but the feeling in my body is good and that is what I will bring with me the most going in to a short period of training.

That Basque Country is one of my favourite location is no secret. And since I spent my first two years as a professional rider in the Basque team “Bizkaia” I have many friends that I love to catch up some time with.  And not to talk about the beautiful landscape that makes it absolutely perfect for training and racing!
