2012.01.19 - Emma

Hey every one!

.

As you probably know by now, I got two broken collarbones after a crash at Gran Canaria. I feel happy even with my broken bones… to meet a car face to face was a bit scary. I managed to avoid it a bit and hit it all along one side. The car tried to pass two other cars who came towards me and it had no way to go…so it was for me too…

.

So after one night in hospital in Gran Canaria, I decided to get a control in Belgium by my sport doctor, who send me to the hospital in Herentals. After new x-ray’s and more control, we decided to operate the two collarbones. We found this the best solution and quickest recovery to keep my condition from the winter training and be on schedule for the Olympic Games.

.

So wish me good luck!

.

And for all of you who supported me on FB, Twitter, email, SMS and here at my blog; I really appreciate the support!

.

I’ll be back….

.

Emma
