Coming back from China was really nice especially since the last days that I had over there were hard, very hard!
On the night before the last stage on the stagerace I got sick and had to spend most of the night on the WC… think that my stomach didn’t like something from the buffé :( cause once my stomach was empty it felt a bit better!
Being on 3rd place in the GC I had to give it a try, on one coca cola and some rice crisps I did that last 80km and finished on the same time as Baccaille. She won the podiumplace ahead of me because she finished ahead of me on that stage. But I won a 3rd place in the pointsrace and the team got 3rd in the team classement, so atleast we got someting!

After that I slept for 18hrs and when I woke up I started to feel like a human again, a hungry one! Some more rice and bread and on the training it felt ok so I thought that I was ready to give it a try on the World Cup.
The race were very slow because of the wind conditions and that was good for me cause then I didn´t have to spend the small energy that I had left in my body before that last kilometeres! Coming into the sprint I was placed good and when Sara Mustonen was going to lead me out I realized that all my power was gone… Couldn’t even hold her wheel!
.
Sara finished 11th and I was 14th, loosing important points in the World Cup overall standing.

Back home I got the real rest that I needed and just when I was about to start training again this awful flu hit me and put me back in the bed for some more days. Guess it´s my bodys way of telling me it needed some more days!
So what do I do, I listen and make my self another cup of tea and put on Eurosport to watch another stage at the Giro!
