Waalse Pijl ended as last years on the podium but not in the middle. A 2nd place is not bad and Vos was just to strong for me. I tried to ride her off my wheel in the last 500m but I could not make it.

My mum and dad are here for a visit and it was nice to have them in Huy, to show them some real Belgium races!
And these last days we have also had time to do some real tourism around Vlaanderen and for me it´s especially nice to get to spend some time with them and to think about something else than bike races.

We have visit Brugge, eaten pancakes and drinking coffee in Oudenaarde. And this great summer-weather makes my easy days even nicer.
