Ronde van Vlaanderen was not my race this year either. It started early with my communication not working. And when Sara crashed at kilometer 10 I managed to have a flat 800 meters after that. Bad timing because the car was standing by her trying to get her bike in order and it took forever before they came up to me… during that time Lise stopped and I could get her wheel.
With Sara taking me back to the caravan and the car bringing me back to the group I could get back in the race again but I had lost Sara and Lise that were my hope to have with me  a lot further in the race!
Coming in to the final alone against three from Nederland Bloit I had no chance (they were for sure the strongest and smartest team on this day) so a 4th place for me this year again and I was not satisfied!

The team got their revenge in Dottignies yesterday though, with Sara winning the sprint and getting the price for the most aggressive and me taken the mountains price and the victory – so full pot! One day too late but better that than nothing!

Today we got told that we were going on a course at 12:00… The ideas about where were many and when we ended up outside this amazing spacenter we were quiet surprised. Big THANK YOU to Martin and Karl!
