Last week I got to join Saartje Vandendriessche and the crew from the televisionprogram “Vlaanderen Vacantieland” for a day.
“Vlaanderen Vacantieland” is a famous TV program casted by VRT, and sent on channel “Een”, the Belgium national channel.

The program will be sent the weekend before the Ronde van Vlaanderen and the theme is Vlaanderen and it’s surroundings with focus on bike holidays and local tourism.
I was there to guide Saartje over the famous Vlaanderen hills together with B&B owner Heidi VerCruysse who is a cycling tourist from Zingem.

The day was long and cold but exciting and I think we got some really nice shots!

We did Koppenberg, Molenberg and Muur in Geraardsbergen. On top of Geraardsbergen we finished our trip at the famous chapel and were blessed by the Priest. So now my bike is blessed and safe for “De Ronde”!
