This summer I did one stage at the “Ride of Hope”. This is a charity ride organized to collect money for “The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation”.

As a professional athlete I’m so focused on myself and my results. Meeting all this wonderful people racing their bikes with a total different purpose made me appreciate my racing and rides so much more. All the strange stories, laughs, tears and wonderful team spirit was great.

“Ride of hope” was one of my best rides last season. In Melbourne I did the world championships, another good ride…

After the worlds I had dinner party with two other great Scandinavian cyclist; Thor Hushovd (world champion) and Edvald Boasson Hagen. Wearing my track suite, I found it a good idea to have it signed.

Sitting in front of the fireplace this Christmas remember both races, I thought it would be a good thing to auction it away supporting “The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation”.

So if anyone is interested helping the foundation to kick start 2011 please place a bet on this; add a comment on this post with your amount, fill in your name and email.

The auction finish 1st February, all amount in “Swedish kroner” (SEK) and it is size S on the jacket.
