Yesterdays stage was a bit nervous for me. To race in Italy is different from Belgium, Holland and France where I’m more used to race.
Every crosspoint looks different and so many cars are standing parked on the side of the road or coming against (!) us in the race…

Team Sweden showed or colors through all the race but our plan to attack in the end stopped when the last 6km were done in very high speed…

Sara helped me before coming in to the last corner and I could sprint in to a 5th place.

1. Girorgia Bronzini, Gauss
2. Ina-Yoko Teutenberg, Colombia
3. Kirsten Wild, Cervelo
4. Marianne Vos, Nederland Bloeit
5. Emma Johansson, Sweden

Today it´s a hard stage. 137km with three climbs, one is 3-4km and the last two are 10km each with finish on top!

Let’s go!

5th is pretty good. Hopefully today you end up on top of the podium.
