Last stage in France went good. After some hard work for my team and me I managed to get 2nd on the last stage and also win the General Classement!
And the champagne tasted excellent :)

After a long trip back home on Saturday I had 1,5 days back home in Zingem. Those were filled with a lot of sleep, breakfast with Martin, work on the computer, easy rides on my bike and we also made a visit to one of our favourite restaurants for the last time… Strange that I won´t come back to Belgium more this year :(

Today Holland Ladies Tour starts… so time for another racingday :)

  1. BLYAU MARC says:

    Jij was de wereldkampioen en niemand anders,ik wens je verder nog veel geluk en nog vele mooie overwingen;

  2. Wim says:

    Absolutely!!! that would push our belgian females even more to cycling!
    PS you forgot the neptunus fish-sticks 😉

  3. Patrick says:

    @Wim: that’s a great idea and a nice competition for the Peter van Petegem classic! Maybe Colosseum could be a sponsor and provide the riders with a mini-calzone at the end of the ride! Brouwerij Ename could complete the picture! 😉
    By the way: great season Emma!
