The race today was cold and the hard wind made the race a bit nervous.
An early solo break from Kirsten Wild, Cervelo Test Team, that almost made it all the way to the finish made the race very passive. Apart from the last climb up to the finish where the attacks were relieved after each other. Just before we caught Kirsten back Sara Duster, also Cervelo Test Team, jumped and won the race. Behind I could sprint in to a good 2nd place.

  1. Sarah Duster (Cervelo Test Team)
  2. Emma Johansson (Red Sun Cycling) a 6”
  3. Noemi Cantele (Bigla Cycling Team)
  4. Martine Bras (Selle Italia Ghezzi)
  5. Nicole Cooke (Vision 1 Racing)

Happy to have such a nice team around me and that my legs are here  earlier than I expected! Tomorrow a new day…
